The Swedish Developmental Biology Organization was founded in 1976 and is affiliated to ISDN, The International Society for Developmental Biology (www.developmental-biology.org). Its purpose is to promote the developmental biology in Sweden.

Travel Grants for Nordic Developmental Biologists
The Nordic Developmental Biology organizations are announcing travel grants of 6000 SEK each, to help its members at the postdoctoral and graduate student level to attend courses, meetings or workshops during the year 2019 that promote their research and education in Developmental Biology. 

The deadline for application is October 31, and a decision for funding will be reached by the end of November.

Application information:

Travel grants are available to members of the Swedish Developmental Biology Organization (SWEDBO), members of the Finnish Society for Developmental Biology, and to those that attended the 2017 SWEDBO/BSDB meeting in Stockholm with their research based in a Nordic country. If you are not yet a member, you are welcome to join our organizations, see http://www.swedbo.se/membership


To apply for the travel grant please submit the following information as a single pdf document:

(i) A short, one page cover letter explaining why it is particularly important for you to attend the conference/course/workshop.
(ii) A one page CV, including publications.
(iii) A copy of the submitted or planned abstract.
